Fuel delivery
The gauge hit empty before the next exit. We bring enough fuel to get you to a station so you can fill up.
We come to where your vehicle is — the street, a driveway, a parking lot or the highway shoulder — and take it where you choose.
When to call us for this
- The car sputtered and stopped with the gauge on empty
- The fuel gauge is broken and you guessed wrong
- You're on the Turnpike or Parkway between exits
- The car is in a lot and you can't walk to a station

How it works for this job

Fuel delivery: common questions
Enough to reach a nearby station and fill up there. Ask when you call if you need more detail.
Tell us your fuel type when you call and we'll confirm. Never put gasoline in a diesel vehicle or the other way around.
Some cars need several cranks to pull fuel back through the lines. If it still won't start, the problem may be the fuel pump or something else, and a tow to your mechanic makes sense.
Once in a while is usually fine, but running dry can strain the fuel pump, which uses fuel to stay cool. Try to keep at least a quarter tank.
